Pregnancy Testing and Options Counseling

We offer free, routine pregnancy testing to women on a walk-in basis, with results given within 5 to 10 minutes by one of our skilled counselors. If a woman has already decided to terminate her pregnancy, she can talk with a counselor to schedule an appointment right after receiving a positive pregnancy test result.

Because we understand that a pregnancy is not always planned and women are not always aware of all their choices, we provide options counseling to help women make informed decisions. This includes counseling about abortion, adoption and parenthood. Depending on a woman’s decision, we provide referrals for adoption and prenatal care and schedule appointments at our Center for an abortion. While options counseling can be done on a walk-in basis, scheduled appointments can help reduce your waiting time or having to return another day. Options counseling is designed to give a woman resources and support to make her own decision about her pregnancy without pressure from family, partner or friends.
